The Pumpkin Patch

We've been talking about pumpkins for awhile now...
 

all in preparation for our visit to the pumpkin patch today!

 



 

Too bad we had one grumpy two year old!  I guess one out of three isn't bad.  It was 90 degrees and very crowded so I can't blame her.

 

They did both LOVE climbing the pumpkin pile!

 

 

 

Christian went all the way to the top.

 

Daddy had to figure out how to help him down.

Julianna found some pumpkins with stickers.  Some pumpkins made good seats.
 

 

The goat was still there.

 

 

One thing is for sure, pumpkins are so heavy.  These were, in her words, humongous!

 

 

The pumpkin patch was much more work for Mommy and Daddy this year.

 

 

 

My how time flies.  And to think, last year this one was just a bean.

 

 

She was a ghost today but she didn't make it out of the carseat/stroller. 

Such a happy girl!

Getting Excited for Fall

or for pumpkins at least!

 

4 months old

Our litte one is already 4 months old!  She was 12lbs 12 oz and 23 inches long at our 4 month check up yesterday.  She is drinking 4-6 oz and we get to start solids this month.  My favorite thing from Ms. Emerson is that she is sleeping soundly from 8:30 pm to 8 am and on her tummy!  She is also getting slobbery and sucking on everything she can get her hands on.  We are on the lookout for that first little tooth.  Emerson loves to watch the twins and tell us stories.  Here is our happy baby girl!

She is such a sweet angel baby, always so laid back.  She never cries!

Love Saturday mornings.  Rainbow pancakes to practice our colors!

Christian is getting so good with Legos and he's talking (babbling) up a storm.  I caught him "reading" this morning.  Julianna is still our Chatty Cathy.  I heard her singing Elmo's World the other morning through the baby monitor.  They both love singing the Alphabet and If You're Happy and You Know It.  Happy Birthday has also been a favorite since turning two.

 

 

 

 

 

Emerson loves sitting up to watch her brother and sister play. 

She seems ready to join in.

 

 

 

 

Our little one is growing up so fast.  Rolling over (and over and over) and now sleeping on her tummy every night.  The nursery is all ready for her (twins are officially moved out) but I'm not ready yet.  She is still sleeping in our room for a few more weeks.  I did finally detach the co-sleeper so baby steps for Mommy.

 

She's also quite the talker.

We opened some presents, went to dinner and came home for some angel food cake.  Yum.  Julianna's new favorite thing to say is "Happy Birthday".

 

 

The past two years have been amazing and my only wish is that time would slow down.  We have loved every stage along the way but we are having alot of fun with this stage now.

Worth every penny!

 

 

 

Can't leave out our 'gift with purchase' who is also growing way to fast.

She is so close to rolling over back to tummy, loves sticking out her tongue and says "ah" alot.  She's already figured out to roll over tummy to back to get out of doing her tummy time and everything goes to her mouth.  But my favorite part - she's been sleeping 6 hours consistently at night!  We're getting close to Mommy getting a full nights sleep again! 


Can't be more thankful!
