Preschool Graduation

Emerson graduated from The Goddard School on Friday.  They had a celebration during lunch so Grammy and I visited for a little while.  I'm so surprised that she still wanted to stay when I had to leave to go back to school.  She is growing up.

Her BFF, Allie, from when she first started at Goddard at one.

Then we took her back to school that night for the ceremony.  So sweet.
She worked very hard on all of her songs.

It's graduation day.  Hip hip hooray!

A Couple Tooth Fairy Visits this Month

On May 10th Christian's fourth tooth finally fell out.  It had been hanging by a thread for soooo long.

Four golden dollars for tooth #4.

Julianna's first top tooth fell out at breakfast this morning, tooth #3.   I asked her what she was eating because I heard a big crunch. She has been waiting so patiently after watching Christian lose both of his top teeth.  Both of her top teeth have been wiggling since February.

Three golden dollars for tooth #3.

Her shirt for school the next day said smile.  We thought that very fitting.

World Cup Day

Our sweet Julianna had to miss school on Friday and her soccer game and a special birthday party on Saturday due to a stomach bug.  Yuck.

Christian and Emerson had World Cup Day.

Christian's team chose to represent France and Emerson's team chose the USA.

Julianna and I went to pick Emerson up after her game and before Christian played.  Daddy coached both games again this week.

Kindergarten Field Day

Julianna in the sponge relay (over, under)

His guy realized that next year he would be able to race against Julianna since they will not be in the same class.  He's Mr. Competitive, apparently.

Mother's Day weekend and Darth Vader

On Saturday, after soccer, Daddy had to get a new car.  It was past time to say goodbye to the Audi.
We mostly waited in the car after walking the car lot for less than 15 min in the sun.  Then the ice cream truck came. :)

Thank goodness for DVDs.
We didn't find the right car at the first stop so we went home to really cool down.

Daddy came home that evening with a car we have named Darth Vader.

Sunday was Mother's Day.

We saw a killdeer nest on the way into church.  The mama killdeer was squawking and ruffling her feathers at us for looking at her eggs.  I thought that was so very fitting on Mother's Day -
