FEBRUARY

February was a very busy month for us.  Unfortunately, Christian got the flu.  Luckily the girls did not also get it.  They got plenty of sister time while he was quarantined.

Emerson lost tooth #6 at school and she literally lost her tooth in my classroom after school.  Thank goodness The Tooth Fairy found it and gave it back to her.

Christian had his first baseball game.  So fun!

Our mommy bird is back at church in the same spot.  This is the third year we've gotten to watch her sit on her eggs.

Emerson is loving silks (more than ballet) and can make it to the very top!

Julianna is still doing great in ballet and is getting ready for recital.

2nd grade had their poetry party celebration.

The twins had their 2nd grade play, Swamped.

Valentine's Day morning.
The kids all got new sunglasses from Daddy's work!  Now if the sun would just come out so we could use them.  Everyone also got a book from the Book Fair and a fun deck of cards.

The girls had ballet on Valentine's Day and there was a cute little pop up sugar cookie decorating stand.

Julianna had to decorate hers when we got home.

JANUARY

We started the month with a quick trip to Corpus Christi to visit Aunt Heidi and Uncle George in their new house.  The doggie door is always a big hit.

We also went to see Schuyler's new house.  They loved loved loved his dog, a weimaraner named Louie.

Louie and Schuyler's boat.

The morning sun in the living room was so pretty.

Game time then a special treat for lunch.

Rice Krispies for the road.
Aunt Heidi surprised them with a trip to Peter Piper's Pizza.

They can't wait to go back to Corpus Christi!

January was packed with Birthday parties.
Emerson went to a cupcake party for Ella at 10 and then we had Mason's party at 3.

Mason turned five.

Emerson finally lost tooth number five.  It hung on for months.

We went to the lake to have lunch with Papa and he ended up showing us some of his metals after Christian had so many "What plane did you fly?" type questions.

We spent an afternoon at Daddy's work so I could get some new frames.  Then we walked over to the water wall.

Our sweet second grader was chosen for spotlight on courage.

We couldn't be more proud.

We ended the month with another birthday weekend.  Emerson went to her friend Sasha's painting birthday party and then we went to the trampoline park to celebrate Parker's birthday.  They were so tired from all the jumping.  The house was really quiet as I was getting some work done so I went to find out why.  Everyone crashed in a different room.

Even the dog.

A favorite game to play with Daddy.

Throw anything up and catch it.

Also learning how to play lots of board games.  As well as learning how to lose gracefully.
