5 months old

It's so hard to catch the smiles.  They get so serious when the camera's on them and I'm a far cry from being a photographer!
I had to zoom in on this one.  She loves to hold his hand.
We are loving the smiles and talking that overcomes them in the exersaucers.

Numbers -

We've realized having a baby means keeping up with lots of numbers and having 2 babies means 2 times the numbers!

Julianna is 20 weeks old and now weighs 13 lbs. and 10 oz.  She is getting 5- 6 oz. bottles of regular formula (but she doesn't finish them all) and is sleeping 8-10 hours at night.  We are very excited about her next number - 2 bottom front teeth!  They broke through either Sunday or Monday.  Mom said I was also four months old when I got my first teeth.
Christian is 20 weeks old and weighs 14 lbs. 4 oz.  He is drinking 5- 7 oz. bottles of liquid gold (cow's milk protein free formula) which he drinks to the last drop and is sleeping 8-10 hours at night.  Christian also has a fun number - 1.  The number of times he's rolled over.  We found him sleeping on his tummy this morning.
They are both napping well throughout the day and are now wearing size 3-6 months.  I will spare you on the number of dirty diapers but I will say we are currently going through 12-15 diapers each day.
Today we went to the doctor for our 4th of six RSV vaccines.  We will get to start solids after our 6 month checkup in March so we have been practicing in our highchairs.
Check out our cute coats.  It's finally been cold!  Houston's coldest month is January when the average temperature overnight is 41.2°F.

Here are some more fun numbers...
1 year ago today we found out we were expecting after 5 years and several months of trying.  13 days later we learned we were expecting twins.
It's still so hard to believe they are finally here.
I will end with a few more numbers, the top 10 things we love about having twins!
10.  Earning Pampers "Gifts to Grow" points really fast.  (http://en.giftstogrow.pampers.com/)
9.  The oohs & aahs from strangers.
8.  Shopping for a boy and a girl. (we both win)
7.  Coordinating outfits. (I will do this until they can tell me otherwise)
6.  Seeing them do something new each day.
5.  We each have a mini-me.
4.  Watching them discover each other.
3.  There's always someone to cuddle.
2.  Double the smiles, giggles and coos.
1.  They are all OURS!
We thank God everyday for these beautiful babies!
