February in a Nutshell

The month of kindness.
Julianna was on our morning announcements to help kick off the kindness challenge.

February started with the FLU!
Emerson tested positive for flu and strep and was down for four days.  Kept her in our room for the first two days.  Then, by the time she was better I had it!  Thanks to the flu shot only felt bad with headache and fever for a couple of days.

We were lucky.  Somehow the twins stayed germ free.

Emerson had a 100th day parade in Kindergarten.

I loved this homework session.  She's become quite the reader.

Spending some Christmas money!  Thanks again Aunt Missy and girls.

Tooth Fairy visit #6 for this guy!

This is what happens when there's a thunderstorm in the middle of the night... we lose our bed and someone ends up on the couch.

Getting ready for Race for Awareness.

Emerson and Julianna got to help kick off Race for Awareness on our morning announcements.

I know it's only 28 days, but February felt very quick.  Closer to spring break I guess.

Valentine's Day

Valentine's from Grammy.

Picnic at the park.

Happy Valentine's Day my loves!

January in a Nutshell

I have fallen behind on the blog this year.  Here is January in a Nutshell.

We had ice and snow on January 16th and 17th and got to miss two days of school!  Yippee!

Snowflake pancakes.

We used this stick to watch the snow pile up.

We went outside several different times to check things out.

Hot cocoa anyone?

Listening to Daddy's training videos.

Taught them how to play checkers, too!

Mason turned four so we got to play and celebrate with him at Pump It Up.

We took a few naps.

We had lots of  homework time.

Christian started robotics after school on Fridays.

We tried to get out of the house some.

Looking forward to 2018 with these three monkeys!
