A Sick Day for Amos McGee (all three)

Emerson was running a fever on my first and second day of school this year.  I was so glad (and lucky) Daddy was not traveling and was not only able to stay home with her both days but also take her to the doctor's office on Monday and Tuesday.  She had a virus on Monday and by Tuesday a sinus infection (her fifth one since December 2014).  We are now going to an ENT and allergist for more info.

Then Julianna came down with fever and rash on Friday of that week so we went to the doctor on Saturday morning and it was strep throat.  What a way to kick off back to school!  She was doing better then started running fever again so Daddy to the rescue.  She stayed home Thursday and they went to see Dr. Stevens.  A virus on top of the strep.

Friday was their five year check up and both were doing great.
J - 3 feet 6 inches tall, 35 lbs
C - 3 feet 8 inches tall, 41 lbs

Julianna failed her hearing test again this year...fluid on the ears but not an ear infection.  Now we get to go back in four weeks to retest and to get our flu shots.  Shhh, don't tell.

Today, Sunday, Christian has fever.  Here we go again.  Thank goodness tomorrow is a holiday and he made it through the birthday party weekend.

(C had strep throat Monday at urgent care with high fever - poor guy)

We're Gonna Have a Party

  A Happy Birthday Party!
We are absolutely blessed to be part of such a wonderful family who always make our parties so fun.
This was the first year that they each wanted something different
or maybe the first year they were given that choice.
Julianna wanted an Ariel party and Christian wanted Lightning McQueen (at least they're both red).

We started the morning at Party City to blow up 30 balloons.  Then we stuck three kids in the van and all 30 balloons.  So much fun in the back while Daddy drove.
Our van definitely has a maximum capacity of 30 balloons.

Saying Hi to Grammy!
Christian was embarrassed this year and hid during the singing.
But he popped up after to blow out his candles really fast.

Lots and lots of wonderful gifts. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
These are some truly lucky kids!
