It's A Girl

18 weeks

My class got to guess the day before my appointment.  They were right with the twins two years ago so I was giving them a lot of credit this year.

They (the girls) dressed in pink the next day and had a few sweet surprises!

The babies were excited with the news as well.  Julianna seems happy to be getting a sister and Christian seems glad to be getting his own room, eventually.

They both had a blast with the balloons!

We can't believe how big they are getting and how much they are learning.

TV remotes and cell phones are current favorites, as well as Corduroy
Julianna loves books but she wants that book read over and over again.
She loves that little bear!

Christian loves anything that rolls, scoots, slides, or moves in general.  Balls are a favorite.
He's also climbing over anything and everything.
I remember when he got his first bruise at 8 months.  Now his poor little legs have about four
and he has one on his head too!  He tries to run so fast.

Back from the cold...

...just in time for Spring?  It has been gorgeous here the past two weeks so we've been getting lots of fresh air and sunshine.  We went out in our PJs after breakfast one morning to sweep up pine needles.

It was nice in Iowa too just cold!

We were at Grammy and Grandpa's house for a very busy week.  It was our first time to fly and everyone did great.  We had a very busy Christmas Eve with both sides of the family.  On Mom's side we met in an elementary school gym so we all fit.  That was a great new experience.  They walked their hearts out.

On Dad's side we met at Great Grandma Moore's house, went to Candlelight Service and we're joined by Santa afterwards.  It didn't go over any better the second time.

We left early due to sick babies.  Poor Christian got sick during dinner.

Christmas morning we just stayed and Grammy and Grandpa's, opened presents and played with toys and Teddy.

We had Christmas in Texas one morning before we left.  It took a long time to unwrap presents.  Santa brought us a kitchen which was a big hit.

We came home with chapped cheeks, runny noses and messy diapers which then turned to fevers and nausea. Julianna is hopefully now getting finished with it all.
This was our first time to be sick so I think they did great, considering.
