Summer's Flying By

Here's a look at July.  We've done a lot and not much at all.  Can't believe August is here already.

We've stayed in school three days a week but just for a few hours in the morning.
They love Ms. Jessica and Mr. Aaron.
Mr. Aaron has dubbed them "Christianna".  That might just stick.

Thursday mornings are splash days and a visit from the Kona Ice Truck.

Emerson's teachers are so great at taking pictures.  She always has so many each day.

Kona Ice - Yummy!

We've had our own splash days and popsicle parties here at our house too.
It has been so hot and dry this month.

Sprinklers, kiddie pools and squirt guns!

We need a house with a pool!

Julianna got into her hair clips and went to town.

She has also been a puzzle machine this summer.

And of course, another summer of Play-doh, painting and Lego building.

Emerson has been crashing for her naps whereas the twins have taken very few naps this summer *sigh.  We had to start the rest or read policy for an hour of quiet around here.

She even slept with Julianna one night.  We had to put an end to that though.

Daddy also suggested a camp-out on the living room floor.
Good times.

We had to say goodbye to our sweet Lexus this summer (liver cancer at 13 years) but the kids took it really well.  They are really getting into having dogs.

We are also still swimming at FINS on Saturday mornings through August.  Then onto soccer for Christian in October and ballet for the girls in September.  They are all so super excited!

Just not quite ready to say good-bye to another summer.
