Summer Trip to the Farm and a few Goodbye's

Seems like the same pictures each year just with bigger kids.

They did a great job this year on the long ride.

We finally made it.

Lots of outside time while we waited for Bella and Lydia.

And into the garden...the peas are ready!

Christian loves to watch the train from any window.  As soon as someone hears the whistle, he's off.

 Loads of cousin time.

He's also a huge fan of the sprayer.
His favorite next to the combine, which he hasn't gotten to ride yet.  Grandpa took all five of them out at once to spray a bean field.

Bubbles, sidewalk chalk, water balloons and water guns.

Poor thing wanted Anna braids so badly but they just curled right up.

It's a cricket.

Looking for butterflies in the daytime and fireflies at night.

The summer storms are not my favorite thing.

We got to make it to Sinclaire's first birthday party.  So much fun!

  Lots of R and R.

New favorite movie - Mermaidia.

This trip was bitter sweet.  Saying goodbye to Grandma Kitty.
We had a gathering and hayride on Friday and the Memorial service on Saturday.

These were the baskets Grandma used at her wedding.

Church and sandwiches on our last day.

Children's Time

I actually got to sit by myself and I could see all three of them - so fun.
Julianna was slipping like the man on the sign.

Leaving is always the hard part.

Our hotel was right across the street from Chuck E Cheese.  Couldn't have planned that better!

Look!  25 tickets!

We also said good-bye to a dear friend this summer.  Our sweet lab Lexus had cancer and needed to be put down after just turning 13.

She was such a great dog and will be missed.
