smell our (soggy) feet.
Everyone went through all their "treats" from school when we got home today.
After two days of rain there were many puddles to jump in tonight and many, many mosquitoes to avoid as we were trick-or-treating. We haven't knocked on any doors yet but we still have fun going on a walk in the dark in our costumes. No one wanted to ride in the wagon this year.

Growing up we were always worried that it would be too cold on Halloween and we'd have to put our winter coats on over our costumes. Funny that now I'm worried about the heat and mosquitoes. Did I mention how bad the mosquitoes are right now? We are ready for a cold snap for that reason alone.
Playing with the glow sticks was the highlight of the evening.
It's funny how it's always the simplest things that they give the most time and attention.
