March in a Nutshell

March just flew by!  Actually, this whole year is flying by.  Ready for the summer slow down.
Well, we will hope it slows down.

Emerson had a field trip to Fire Station #5.

Christian and Julianna had their first grade reading restaurant which was so fun to attend as a parent after seeing the teacher side for years.
They did awesome!

(videos to come)

The killdeer bird came back and made her nest again in the same spot as last year - four eggs.  It's fun to check on her each Sunday.

Now that we are all getting adjusted to daddy's new hours the kids have picked up new chores.
They have to fold their own clothes and put them in their dressers.  They also help in the kitchen when they can: cutting fruit, setting the table and unloading the dishwasher.
So far so good.

We had a couple "teacher kid" birthday parties.  We are so lucky to have Elisabeth and Jacob to play with after school.

Such great friends!
