APRIL

Where has the time gone!  I thought we were busy when they were all little, little but there is a different busy at this age and stage.  Calendar boxes are FULL every day and lots to do on the weekends.  We are enjoying every minute of the crazy and shocked each month at how the time does fly by.  Thankful for the rest the summer months hold.

Christian started soccer this month with FFPS.  We got to decorate the car for the first game.  He did great this month and averaged two goals each game.

Goalie

Team Captain

His first year of baseball continued through April so we had some Saturdays that overlapped a bit.  Baseball season wasn't his favorite.  He got hit by a pitch and lost some courage half-way through.

Little Preston turned 5!  They had a blast at Pump It Up!

Second grade had their field trip to the movies, Penguins...

, and the Economics Fair.  So fun!

The fourth annual Race for Awareness was this month!  We helped raise money for Inspiration Ranch in The Woodlands.

We ran for one mile and then had to "run" to a soccer game.  Whew!

Meet Titan!  The school raised enough to buy a horse for the ranch and then some!

Someone had a birthday and is shocked to be forty something.

Julianna has been working hard in Ballet and Ensemble class to get ready for her recital next month.  They will be doing Les Sylphides.  Making sure the costume fits.

Easter mail from Grammy!

The Easter bunny brought caterpillars and they did great.  We had to release them by the end of the month.

Still found time to play outside and enjoy the nice temps...

and family time every night!  We've been doing our Day by Day Bible reading each night and rotate whose turn it is.  Daddy is even sometimes home to read!

I love hearing the kids read.

Love all these freckle faces!  My how big you are!!

 This guy too.
