OCTOBER

October is always such a busy month with lots to look forward too.
Julianna is so happy to have Lacie in her class this year. They were together in Kinder and First
but not in Second.

Rural - How do people get places?  Answer I like: "You can try to ride a hog."

Walk to school day - of course we cheated.

Emerson just LOVES Ms. Salazar and second grade!  I love that my principal sends me pictures anytime she's in a classroom with my kids!

Christian missed five days of school in October due to a nasty virus. Thankfully no one else caught it.

They all love school this year and they all love reading.  I enjoy nights like this!

Christian started soccer this month and Daddy gets to be the coach!
This is season #8 and he's really starting to get some fancy foot work.  He averages 2-3 goals each game.  They are the Red Artillery.  Christian is No. 9.

We also had a lot of Astros excitement in the house.

Getting ready for Halloween.  I love traditions all year long!

Emerson had a pumpkin math day at school.

We also had Fall Festival and...

 the Conroe ISD Fun Run.
Third grade is the first grade where you can participate to run against the same grade levels
at all the schools in our Woodlands feeder zone.  I am so proud of them for signing up.

Julianna had her first sleepover for a friend's birthday party.

Emerson had her friend Elisabeth sleepover while she was gone and we watched Descendants for the first time.

We visited the pumpkin patch one weekend and found the perfect pumpkin to carve.

Time to carve the pumpkin.  Each kid got to pick one part: eyes, nose, mouth.

We got to try out our costumes for Funday Sunday at church.

Lots of goodies!

Trick-or-Treating was so cold this year but at least it wasn't raining like last year. I can't remember a cold Halloween before in Texas.

Happy Halloween!
