JUNE

We started the month with Emerson's birthday party.  We decided not to travel to Iowa due to the rise in Covid cases, so Grammy and Grandpa traveled to us.

We also went to VBS, well VBS came to us...still at home.

Lots of swimming this summer.  This pool is getting very small.  We have now used it for three summers and the kids just keep getting bigger and bigger.  May be time to upgrade.  It did have two holes to patch this year.

They have been waiting since Easter to try these umbrellas.  Woo-hoo for rain!

We love hanging with Grammy and Grandpa.

Waiting for the girls at dance.

Lots of home time, family time.

Julianna got her expanders in this month and lost tooth #9.  It's been awhile.

Emerson also had a lip tie procedure at the dentist and Christian had a spot checked out...

and a visit to the urologist.

We celebrated Father's Day...

and Daddy's birthday.  The big 5-0!  Our first time at a restaurant in months.

Julianna tried out silks for the first time.

Ballet recital picture day!  I love this day so much.  Such beautiful ballerinas!

And finally, we ended the month with a sweet baby shower for our cousin Melissa's new baby girl, Reese, due in August.

We quick made a baby quilt.  My first quilt in years.  And sweet little knit booties.

I got to end the month at The Teacher's College Reading Institute.  This year I got to stay home and attend virtually.  Kind of a relief after the flight issues last year.

Great trainings and staffers but it is hard to sit in front of the computer for a week.
