We are doing lots of bike rides. They love to ride to the park.
Emerson has decided to try baton as well.
Julianna lost yet another tooth. No. 15!

Spring break was wonderful. It was the perfect chance to dig out all the plants that were killed by the freeze and start again. We are also going to try a little raised gardening in the backyard. I was able to work on the front yard the first weekend and the backyard the second weekend.
Going to try a lemon tree.
The kids picked out strawberry and watermelon plants. Then they found cantaloupe, pumpkin, carrot and cucumber seeds. We shall see. Jimmy also grabbed a tomato plant.

We spent one afternoon at the beach and got some serious sunburns, all the ladies did anyways.
Football with dad.
And dinner at Olive Garden, a favorite spot for these three.

We tried to camp out in our backyard. It was chilly. We came in and slept on the couch around midnight. But it was fun to have dinner in the tent.

Then to the zoo the next day. I think this was my first time to take them to the zoo by myself. They did great! It was also our first time back to the zoo since Covid.
Boy, do we have a tiger story to tell. They were so excited to see him jump up and run.
We did have to recharge with some ice cream though.
It was a great spring break!

Emerson ended the month with Elisabeth's birthday party. It was her first time to ride a horse. They gave her Old Dakota. The name tells it all. He was a good horse for a nervous little girl.
