MARCH

March started off normal.

2nd grade had their play, "How Does Your Garden Grow".
Emerson was a very cute flower and also auditioned for a speaking part.  She is always so brave.

We also had the first and second grade field days right before spring break.

Spring break also started off normal but that didn't last long.
We didn't know this would be our last trip to the park for awhile.

We helped Wyatt celebrate his birthday at Deacon Baldy's...

and put lots of puzzles together, built with Legos, went on walks, rode bikes and read books.
We also didn't realize that would be our new normal.

Julianna's shoe lace got wrapped up in her bike pedal on the last day of the "first" spring break
and she fell over and landed on her elbow.
An X-ray later and it looked like a possible hairline fracture.

Then there was a lot of uncertainty.
We got a second week of spring break while teachers prepared for distance learning.
We all stayed at home and worked together for a long time.
Distance Learning was not as easy as it sounded and we didn't know how long it would be this way.
Zoom, Canvas and Seesaw became our new normal.

School happening all over this house.

Teacher car parade.

This one had lots of pajama days.

Piano lessons and ballet via zoom as well.

Just trying on our recital costumes.  It will also be postponed.

Recess!

Super glad we made this space in the garage at Christmas.  We are using it now.

Even church at home.

The Easter Bunny had a special early delivery.  Our annual caterpillars arrived.

So very fun!

My brother also got promoted to Sergeant this month!
